Monaro Performance Centre have provided special interest vehicles on a number of occations, including pace cars, course cars, safety cars, show cars, medical cars, on track display vehicles and complete replica race cars. In 2004 MPC built a display car done up like a V8 Supercar for the Beijing Motorshow. On this occation the turnaround time for preparing the vehicle was only 8 days, a very short time for producing a virtual replica racecar! MPC also created 'The Heat', the Northern Territory Police's "Racing for Road Safety" drag car featured in the picture on the right. | |
